The Township of McGarry is committed to investigating and resolving any issues or concerns submitted. We strive for continuous improvement and open communication with the public in an approach where all issues are dealt with fairly in a respectful, transparent manner, and as quickly as possible.
Anyone wishing to make a complaint against the Township must first seek resolution through the Township's internal complaint process. If you are not happy with the outcome of your complaint, you can submit a complaint with the Provincial Ombudsman’s Office.
If your complaint involves a Member of Council, you may contact the Integrity Commissioner.

Municipal Ombudsman |
The Municipal Ombudsman investigates concerns about Township services and administrative unfairness. We recommend that you speak to the department responsible for the service if you are unhappy with the quality of service you received. Prior to sending a formal complaint to the Ombudsman, residents shall follow McGarry's complaint process. If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of the internal complaint process, you may then file a complaint with the Municipal Ombudsman. The Township uses the services of the Ontario Ombudsman. |
