The Township of McGarry has a dedicated crew of volunteer firefighters that are committed to providing fire protection services to our local area and the community at large. The Brigade currently has twenty-two volunteer members. Meetings are held monthly and are not open to the public.
Being a volunteer firefighter can be both rewarding and challenging, requiring you to dedicate time to respond to emergency calls and commit to many hours of training.
Volunteer firefighters play an important role in keeping our community safe from fire and other hazards. If you are dedicated, have excellent teamwork skills, and are in good health and physically fit then consider joining our team! Volunteer firefighting is a great way to learn valuable skills and give back to your community. Applications are available at the municipal office.
