1. Question: Can I ask questions at the meeting?
Answer: Yes questions can be asked during the Audience Question Period and must be related to the agenda.
If your question is not related to the agenda, you may ask for a delegation and follow the Procedural By-Law 2025-14 Section 11.6 Delegation/Presentation/Petitions and fill out the Appendix "D" listed above. Please note your request must be submitted 14 days prior to the meeting.
2. Question: When are the Regular Council Meetings?
Answer: The Regular Council Meetings are held every second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Meeting Room at the Community Centre. Residence are encourage to attend and participant in the meetings.
3. Question: What is required to determine eligibility for a lottery license?
Answer: When an organization first applies for any type of lottery license, or whenever a review of its eligibility is required, it must provide of the the following information and documents that apply to it:
- A copy of its letter patent,
- A copy of its constitution and bylaws,
- A copy of its proposed budget with a twelve month budget including details anticipated revenues and expenditures,
- A copy of its financial statements of the preceding year,
- A list of its Board of Directors,
- Its latest report the Public Guardian and Trustee,
- Its charitable number for income tax purposes,
- A copy of its "Notification of Registration" letter from the Canada Revenue Agency, with any supporting documents indicating the applicants status and terms of registration,
- Copies of its charitable returns to the Canada Revenue Agency for the previous calendar year,
- A detailed description of its activities and,
- A copy of its annual report.
4. Question: Are the quarterly reports from Ontario Clean Water Agency for the water and wastewater system poste online?
Answer: The report are available on the Township Website under the Regular Council Meeting/Agenda Section. We strongly urge anyone who notices that a report is missing to contact the Township Office, and we will promptly ensure that it is posted. You may also request a copy of the reports.
5. Question: Are you allowed to build a lot that is 40x100 or smaller?
Answer: Yes, you are, you must ensure that you met the setbacks required. Tiny homes are also permitted in accordance with the policies of the official Plan.
